Introduction
My name is Hector Padron and I have been living in West Palm Beach and now in Lake Worth for 14 years since I came from Cuba, my motherland. I work as Senior Telecom Technician for the city of West Palm beach where I maintain the Motorola 800Mhz two way trunking radio system. I am also the control operator of the following bilingual repeaters: 443.325 with a PL tone of 103.5Hz at 350 feet altitude covering Palm beach county, N4LGG 444.950 Pl tone of 123 at 300 feet and N4LGG 444.775 Pl tone of 123 at 60 feet. My repeater is AD4C Repeater 444.325 Pl tone of 179,at 500 feet. After working hours you may find me ragchewing with my friends about technical matters and wide band SSB audio. My home station is a Yaesu FT-1000MP MK5 Field ,RCA HI-FI speaker,MD-100A8X mic a MFJ-986 Differential T Tuner and a Collins 30L1 amp.My antennas are a 40M bazooka dipole,Hygain 12AVQ vertical for 40/20/15M and a homemade ground plane 17M vertical also.I am active in all bands from 40M to 10M in SSB and CW. Sometimes when I travel long distances in my Kia Rio 2004 I take with me a Kenwood TS-50 and all the HF hamsticks for different bands,I also have installed in the car a Yaesu FT-7800 dual band .
